You can download a donation form, or contact us and we will post one out to you. We realise that whenever you make a donation to any charity you are making a significant personal financial sacrifice.
We hope that, after seeing how much hope and joy we as a Group are bringing to the lives of people who are "doing it tough", you will find there is as much joy in giving as in receiving.
We also realise there are many worthy charities that all do good work - both locally and abroad - but, when you donate to the Christian Brothers' Overseas Aid Fund (as part of our 500 Supporters' Group), you can be assured:
1. Every dollar you donate is sent directly to the projects in Africa.
The Christian Brothers work directly with local communities and this minimises the potential for any "misappropriation of funds" that can sometimes occur when dealing with bureaucracies.
2. Not one cent you donate is used for "administration expenses".
We are very grateful that the expenses needed to operate our Group and organise our Lunches are paid by a very generous member of our organising committee, so every cent you contribute to the Christian Brothers' Overseas Aid Fund, through our Group, goes directly to help the people who need it the most.
3. Every dollar you donate is tax deductible
Your donations are received by "The Christian Brothers' Overseas Aid Fund", which is a registered charitable fund that has "tax deductible status" under Australian Taxation legislation.
